My kitchen was completed on time, at the agreed price, to a very high standard and still looks as good as new a number of years later.

Being so happy with the quality of James’s work I also got him to quote and fit an en-suite shower in the main bedroom, new family bathroom and downstairs cloakroom. All work was done to the same high standard as my kitchen and still look good to this day despite heavy use. I would have no hesitation in recommending James McBride.

Getting work done on the house is exceptionally stressful!

With James and Bruce we received a fraction of what we would have had to shoulder without them. They're both exceptionally diligent works and just got on with producing incredible quality work. Everything that could have been a problem was easily tackled like it was water off a ducks back! I really needed this expert 'zen' attitude when you're working and living in a house with constant activity.

I could write for hours about; the level of quality, how they didn't ever disappear, they had solutions before presenting problems, they tidied up every evening, were always polite and were very reasonably priced.

This is a genuine 5/5 star review. The house has changed so much following their incredible work and I really hope to call upon their services for even more change down the line!

We have noticed that James only works with others who have same high standard of work and we would always trust him to organise and manage the other trades involved in a project no matter how big or small.

I first met James when he installed a new kitchen in my parents’ house. Since then he has helped us with many renovation and modernisation projects with our Victorian home.These have included the construction of a custom designed two-storey conservatory on the side of the kitchen. This was a very difficult project as the roof had to be constructed on angles and round abend. All of this James managed to achieve without stress.

James is an accomplished and hard working craftsman, to say that he is a perfectionist under states the care and attention he gives to his work.
